p1000414.jpg

  • We did a survey to find out how much K students valued thier K education

  • We surveyed 89 students from various grades within the school (see text for breakdown)

  • We asked students if they approved of projects either under the way or recently completed, and we found that students most approved of the wireless internet (4.62 out of 5.00) and they least approved of the 5% tuition increase (1.62 out of 5.00)

  • We then asked students what they would be most willing to give up in order to save money for the school.  While none of the objects really came out as a clear loser students were willing to give up L.A.C.'s (3.34 out of 5.00) and least willing to give up the Study Abroad Program (1.7 out of 5.00)

  • Next we asked the students how valuable 5 items were to thier education and found that Teachers were the most vaulable (4.35 out of 5.00) and the social diversity classes were the least valubale (2.28 out of 5.00)

  • We then began running a series of tests, to check our averages we used confidence intervals (95%) and found that almost all our varibles were different than the averages done by other institutions (see full text).

  • We then compared a few of our male and female groups using various varibles, but we found little significance within those equations.

  • Then we ran regressions comparing what students felt was the value of there overall K education against various groups, and found that students who said the teachers and the curriculm were important had higher numbers on the overall value. (see full text)
